Packed full of features and with prices starting at just £109.00, the F100 is the perfect dash cam solution offering drivers’ security, accountability and possible reductions in insurance premiums. 

Thinkware’s F100 1 or 2 Channel Camera is an affordable option, (4 options available), for consumers and drivers of commercial vehicles. The rear camera option allows drivers to have a clear view of incidents at the rear, recording at HD720p video at 30 frames per second. For taxi drivers, there is an IR camera (internal) option. It films inside the vehicle making taxi journeys safer for the driver and passenger. The external camera option is weatherproof and captures any incidents at the rear, particularly useful for drivers of commercial vehicles. It also features Safety Camera Alerts when connected to the external GPS antenna, providing drivers’ regularly updated information on verified speed/red light camera locations and known mobile speed traps.

The F100 is equipped with an Ambarella A12 chipset and Sony Exmor CMOS image sensor that records detailed full HD1080p video at 30 frames per second, a 135-degree wide viewing angle and a built in Active Impact monitoring system. The Thinkware F100 dash cam certainly fits a lot of features into its small and elegant design.

When hardwired, the F100 features Parking Surveillance Modes with Motion and Impact Detection. When triggered, the dash cam records 20-second video clips, ensuring car, van or taxi owners are able to capture incidents in parking mode for up to 48 hours. The built-in impact sensor, which detects the level of force when your vehicle sustains an impact, is a 3 axis G-sensor which has different settings for parking mode and continuous mode, as sensitive as possible whilst parked but less so whilst on the move to ensure it doesn’t record incidents every time the vehicle hits a pothole. All footage is instantaneously saved to a memory card reducing potential data corruption

The dash cams are also able to work in extreme conditions thanks to integrated Thermal Protection. If the temperature rises and exceeds a certain level, the Self Protection Shut Down function will automatically switch off the device to protect the camera optics. In the event of power loss during an accident, the dash cam’s fail-safe recording uses the Super Capacitor to ensure that any recordings in progress are stored securely, so you can be confident your data is safe. The F100 also supports format free file saving so there is no need to remember to regularly format the memory card.

When connected to the optional external GPS Antenna the F100 provides drivers regularly updated information on verified speed/red light camera locations and known mobile speed traps thanks to the partnership THINKWARE has with award winning camera alert specialist, Cyclops.

The dash cam also allows for discreet installation due to its minimal size and black appearance. It can be placed behind the rear view mirror on the windscreen using 3M tape so the driver’s vision is not obscured.

CONTINUOUS RECORDING MODE
This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.
 
EVENT RECORDING MODE
The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds prior to and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor
 
MANUAL RECORDING MODE
Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.
 
PROPRIETARY THINKWARE DASH CAM - PC VIEWER
The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of THINKWARE DASH CAM allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Through PC or Mac viewer, you can playback and download recorded videos along with your route history and speed record. You can also change the dash cam settings, format the memory card, or install updates with just a few clicks on the viewer.
 
COMPREHENSIVE DRIVING INFORMATION WITH GPS
With the optional GPS Tracker, the THINKWARE DASH CAM F100 can record the vehicle's driving speed and provide its precise location and routes identification on the map. FAIL-SAFE RECORDING
In the event that the power gets disconnected after an accident, the fail-safe recording uses the Super Capacitor for backup power to ensure safe storage of any recording in progress – so you can be assured that your valuable data will be securely stored under any circumstances.
